Time is like a thief in the night, stealing away a month here and there. This thief embezzles countless hours in our lives when we work excess hours, or perhaps when spending excessive hours on TV shows, video games, web browsing and chatting; frivolous socializing and even sleeping time away, (do to depression, lack of hope, lethargy, sluggish health and so forth).
Too much sand has already sifted through the hourglass by the time we realise that each day holds it own unique opportunities, just as the song says, "Life is a fight realised much too late.." However, at one point or another, we all get stuck in ruts. We're afraid of change and become all too comfortable with what is 'familiar'. No one else will grab the reins of life for us. Why not begin anew because NOW is NEVER too late! As Chakra Bleu reminds us all in her song: "Seize the Day! -Seek treasure of the heart...Aspire to be all you can!" Howe can we do this? Start by writing down your ideals in each department of your life. Take baby steps and don't judge yourself along the way. Keep a sense of humour and a thankful heart. Finally, as the song reminds us:"Feel the wonder of child again- (whereby an) adventurous spirit burns within."
